This week in Year 1, we continued our exploration of the enchanting book, The Robot and the Bluebird, during our English lessons. We focused on the delightful moment when the robot feels a surge of excitement as the bluebird makes him believe he possesses a real heart, prompting him to perform a creaking, clanking dance.
We examined the author’s choice of vocabulary, which inspired us to use our imaginations to bring this scene to life through our own interpretations of robot dancing. We thoroughly enjoyed this creative activity and eagerly anticipate discovering what unfolds as the robot endeavours to assist the bluebird.
