Today Year 4 was filled with colour, creativity and confidence as pupils took part in our Children in Need Dress to Express Day. From superheroes and sparkly outfits to cosy pyjamas and vibrant patterns, every child came through the gates showing a little piece of who they are — and it was wonderful to see.

The aim of the day was simple:
✨ to celebrate individuality
✨ to help children feel proud of themselves
✨ to raise awareness and support for Children in Need

And our pupils certainly rose to the occasion!

Classrooms buzzed with excitement as children talked about why they chose their outfits. Some dressed as characters who inspire them, others wore clothes that make them feel brave or happy and many chose colours or patterns that express their unique personalities. It was a brilliant reminder that no two children are the same — and that’s what makes our school so special.

Teachers were equally thrilled to see the range of creativity on display. More importantly, they saw children standing a little taller, smiling a little brighter and celebrating each other’s differences with kindness and curiosity.

Days like today help us show pupils that being yourself is something to be proud of. Whether bold, quiet, colourful or calm, every child has a story — and today we got to see those stories shine through in the most joyful way.

Thank you to everyone who took part and supported Children in Need.
Together, we not only raised funds —
we raised confidence, happiness and a real sense of community. 💛
