This week we began our science topic, Mopping Up. We learnt what it means for a material to be absorbent. In lesson 1 we tested which material was the most absorbent, tissue, paper towel or kitchen roll.
The next lesson we looked at what other materials can absorb water. We learnt that materials like plastic and metal do not absorb water, however materials like wood and even bricks can absorb some water!
