Today we were delighted to welcome the Iroko Theatre Company to our school for an exciting African drumming workshop.
Children had the opportunity to learn about traditional African rhythms, retold traditional stories as well as having a go at drumming themselves! The hall was filled with energy, teamwork, and vibrant sounds as everyone joined in to create fantastic rhythms together.
The workshop was not only a fun and engaging experience but also a wonderful way to celebrate creativity, culture, and community through music.
