We had very successful trips to St Albans church this week. It was a short walk, in lovely weather, to get there. We spotted cats, birds and a yellow car on our way there!
Rev Faye Bailey greeted us at the door and led us into the church. She told us all about baptism, and the 3 symbols associated with baptism. Ask me what they are to see if i can remember them.
We then had a look around the church. The stained glass window was huge and they were used because people couldn’t always read and write in the past, so the windows told stories. The font is near the entrance and had lots of carvings on it.
