Sensory circuits have become a key part of the children’s daily routine and activities over the past year. It is a time for them to engage in different tasks whilst moving, which helps to release built up energy in class, and to move to a different space to do so.

As you can see from the pictures below, sensory circuits are different for all classes. This is due to the needs and the particular interests of the children in that class. Some children blow bubbles and catch an object, whereas others move through the school jumping and crawling using visual representations on the floor.

We have seen a big improvement in children’s engagement in sensory circuits, as well their engagement and calmness within class after these.

If you have any questions or want to know more to trial at home, then please email us and we can forward some ideas and instructions on setting these up.
