We are incredibly proud to announce that Monteagle Primary School has been awarded the prestigious Healthy Schools London (HSL) Gold Award — a national recognition of our sustained commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles among our children and community.
This remarkabe achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and leadership of our PSHE Lead, Ms Feeney. Her tireless effort, passion, and commitment have driven the school to go beyond the Silver Award, achieving all the planned outcomes set as targets, and demonstrating clear, recorded evidence of the positive impact on our children’s health and wellbeing.
Ms Feeney has ensured that these improvements are not just short-term but sustainable, embedding healthy habits and attitudes throughout our school culture. Moreover, she has actively engaged with the wider community, sharing knowledge and supporting others to help children and young people maintain good health and wellbeing.
As part of maintaining this Gold status, the school will continue to submit regular reviews to Healthy Schools London, ensuring that our commitment
to health and wellbeing remains a top priority.
