This week, Year 5 have been learning about the PANTS rules – an important part of helping children understand how to stay safe and speak out about anything that makes them feel uncomfortable.

We explored what each letter in PANTS stands for and discussed why it’s important to know that our bodies belong to us, that we have a right to say no, and that we should always talk to a trusted adult if we’re worried about something.

To make the week even more memorable, we had a special visit from Pantasaurus during assembly! The children loved meeting him and joining in with his important message: “Privates are private!”

It was a fun and meaningful week that helped remind everyone how to stay safe, confident, and aware.
