This week, Year 5 completed a very special project to support our local community. After collecting food in school and presenting their Harvest Festival, the children worked together today to bag up all the generous donations.
We then carried the food up to SHED, our local charity, and delivered it in person. The children were proud to see how their hard work and kindness had come together to make a real difference.
While we were there, a member of staff from SHED kindly explained how the food bank works and told us how much our donation will help families in our community. The children were able to see first-hand the impact of their efforts and understand the importance of giving to others.
Thank you to all families who donated—you have truly helped us share the spirit of Harvest this year.
