This week has been a very special one for our Reception children as they took their very first steps into school life. It was such a joy to see so many smiling faces – and only a few tears, mostly from the parents, I must add!
Our returning Nursery children have been so pleased to see their friends again, slipping back into school life with big smiles, while our new starters are beginning to find their feet and make new friends of their own. It has been wonderful to watch them all exploring, learning and sharing these first moments together.
We have been delighted to see how quickly everyone is settling into the new routines and how eager they are to join in with everything Reception has to offer. Their happiness is infectious and we often find ourselves smiling just as much as they are.
