To celebrate the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, Ms Darcy and Mr Collymore organised an exciting in-school football tournament for Years 5 and 6. Children were placed into mixed teams and each team represented a different country. Over several weeks, matches were played during break and lunchtime, building great anticipation and team spirit across the year groups. The tournament ended in a thrilling final between Norway and Italy, with both teams evenly matched. After a 1-1 draw, the game went to penalties, where Italy emerged victorious and proudly lifted the trophy. Commiserations to team Norway, who played brilliantly and showed fantastic sportsmanship throughout.
