On Wednesday 9th July, Year 4 children had a break from their usual lessons to take part in an exciting group challenge. Their task was to create the UK’s next big theme park! Working in teams, the children began by choosing a theme and designing a logo and slogan to match. Using their geography skills, they then created a detailed map of their park, including key features such as entrances, paths, rides, food stalls, toilets, a first aid point, and a gift shop. Next, they created a price list and designed an eye-catching poster to advertise their theme park. In the afternoon, the creativity continued as children used LEGO to build a section of their park. They worked extremely hard, showing fantastic teamwork throughout the day—it was truly wonderful to see. The day finished with some well-earned tasty treats!
