On Tuesday, Year 3 visited the London Mithraeum which is a Roman temple built to worship the ancient god Mithras. The pupils found out that worshippers of Mithras were very secretive and they only let men join the temple. They had the opportunity to explore the temple, see artefacts and hear a ceremony conducted in Latin.
