Week 6 – Pneumatic Monsters
This week the children embarked on the most complicated STEM project: Pneumatic Monsters. Using air pressure built up in 10ml and 5ml syringes, the children were able to design and build fully functioning monsters.
Along with the fun, we considered a few STEM PRINCIPLES along the way: PNEUMATICS, PRESSURE & COMPRESSION.
We could not have done it without the ongoing great teamwork from the children and the support from the year 6 teaching team.
