Last week, Mrs Rashid was so pleased with all the home learning that she received through Class Dojo. It has been amazing to see how well you are all persevering with the maths learning to 100. Keep up the great work this week!

In writing, the children will continue to look at the story ‘Wild’. The link to the story will be shared on Class Dojo again, for you to refresh your memory of the story. Ms Hughes has provided a planning sheet for the children to build a word bank of adjectives prior to writing a setting description. This week, the children will also recap questions. A question sheet has been provided.
Continuing with the learning in maths, the children will now use their knowledge of numbers to 100 to begin to add using the column method. A 100 square and number line will continue to be useful when performing addition. It will be a good idea to ask the children to practice counting forwards in 1s this week before any learning. Worksheets have been provided for the children to work from.
For the curriculum learning, the children will continue their studies about animals. This week, we will be looking at mammals and what makes them different to other animals that have been studied.
As always, please continue to use bug club for reading and TT Rockstars for additional maths. Have a fantastic week!
