It’s great to see you are still working incredibly hard Year 3. We understand it’s a tricky time for you not knowing when exactly you’ll be back at school but it is so important that you continue completing your home learning as we, your teachers, want you to be the best you can possibly be. Keep challenging yourselves and striving to complete all your work as we know you can do it! Remember, we are only an email away if we can be of any support at all to you or your parents.
This week in English, we will be continuing ‘One Plastic Bag’ and you will be writing your own poem, a set of instructions and making your very own leaflet about the Gambia! Don’t forget to keep reading the independent books on bug club and if you run out of books please let your teacher know either by email, purple mash or zoom. We will be checking you are reading regularly!
In maths this week, you will be finding the area of a rectangle and doing some problem solving. Don’t forget to login to Timetables Rockstars too!
In your curriculum homework, you will be experimenting with shadows and understanding its connection to light and time. You will also be discovering the different traditional fashions of the world, why they are significant and completing a report on traditional fashions.
Remember all the tasks highlighted in green are to be sent to your teacher so they can give you help for the future.
Keep smiling and take care,
All the best,
The Year 3 team
