The children across Year 2 are really enjoying their music lessons and are showing great enthusiasm during the session. During their lessons they learn how to find and keep a steady beat, they repeat simple rhythmic patterns using long and short and simple melodic patterns using high and low. As part of the lesson they are introduced to a piece of music they may not of heard before (this week it was Bolero) and as a class discuss what the piece of music. To finish the lesson they learn a new song which they thoroughly enjoyed. The last two weeks they have been working on the song Music is My Soul.
