The children have been engrossed in all the lessons and activities surrounding their Maths tasks lately.

Some children have been learning how to count a number of the same object and use tallying to represent each object counted. This has been challenging to begin with, but the children are making some good progress in understanding tallying and its meaning.

Other children have been looking at more or less in relation to one object. The children had to add one more or take one away, which can be seen using the cubes in some of the images below. Again, the children loved playing and using the cubes to complete the task and had great understanding when working with an adult.

There were so many fun maths resources used in each class, which is always fantastic to see the range of learning we do here at the ARP. Take a look at the images below to see how creative and engaged the children have been.
