Year 5 celebrated their harvest festival with a special assembly today. Since the beginning of term, the year group has been working hard during their music lessons to learn songs for the celebration. Children also performed beautiful poems that they had composed themselves. We were blown away by the generous donations for the food bank, it was wonderful that the whole school got behind this cause. The food will now go back into the Monteagle community and benefit many families. Thank you to everyone who donated and to all the parents and carers that came to watch the children’s performance. It was a lovely way to show off the hard work the children have been doing during the first month of the new school year.
