This week Year 6 invited parents into our classes to discuss our most recent grammar and punctuation assessment. In Year 6, grammar and punctuation is very important in our writing across all subjects and so it is crucial to learn about all the different aspects and how they enhance our writing.

The grammar and punctuation paper is an assessment of all the grammar, punctuation and spelling we have learnt throughout our school career. By looking back over the assessment, we completed last week, we can pick out any mistakes we may have made and look at how we can improve for next time.

It was wonderful to see so many parents in our classrooms, getting involved and understanding what the assessments look like, in order to help support the children.
