In maths this week we have continued our work on fractions and have been looking at fractions of a set.

So we have been looking at how we would work out 2/3 of  36 for example.

We would take our whole number of 36, and divide it by the denominator (bottom fraction number) so 36 divided by 3 = 12.

We would then take 12 and multiply it by the numerator (top number), so 12 x 2 = 24

2/3 of 36 = 24!

Take a look at some of our work!
