This week in Year 1 we have been finding out about the countries in the United Kingdom. We have been using digital maps to explore the human and physical features of the countries and locate the capital cities. In addition to our map work, we have begun making fact files for each country of the UK. We have found it very interesting exploring the UK and making comparisons with where we live and other locations.
