In year 5 science lessons this term we have been learning about space.

We were lucky enough last week to have a talk from Mr Esteve who is an Economist at the European Space Agency. He showed us that there are many different careers in space travel, not just astronauts! Mr Esteve gave us an insight into the functions of satellites, rockets and the effects of space travel on the human body.

We were amazed to find out that the moon is actually drifting a few centimetres away from the Earth each year!
