We had lots of fun investigating soil in year 3. We were trying to discover which type of soil absorbed the most liquid. After discussing the types of soil (peat, sand, clay and chalk), we made predictions and explained why we chose that particular soil. We then carried out the experiment to see whether or not our predictions were accurate.
