I can’t quite believe that we are already at the end of September. It has been the busiest but one of the best starts to a school year I have ever experienced. The staff team have honestly been superb, they are all completely fired up and ready to ensure that 2022-2023 is great one.
The children have been fabulous. Without exception, they always brighten up my day. This week we have been looking at books across the school and its been so pleasing to see the quality of the work they are producing across the curriculum.
I was so impressed with how the children presented their work in Achievement Assembly on Monday. For children who are right at the beginning of the year, they spoke eloquently and with such expression and confidence. It was a joy.
I’ve also been listening into the children’s singing assemblies each week and I have to say its always such a highlight. Ms Jenkin our Music Lead and Mr Hopkins make sure that the children across the school sound like a professional choir each week… Not an easy task!
Essentially, the school just feels buzzy and full of energy. Just how I like it! I have also loved chatting to so many of you over the weeks. You have all been so incredibly supportive and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
