Another fun week of art has been had with year 5 tasting and describing biscuits in preparation for designing and making them from next week; year 2 sculpting wire superheroes in heroic poses and considering facial features when drawing faces with emotion. Year 4 made soap sculptures, practicing the use of tools involved in 3d sculpture as well as learning to consider measure and shape before adding detail to still life drawing. Year 1 continued with their class theme of toys by exploring and describing different puppets and also making their own finger puppets. Next week, year 3 will be making their own paints and year 6 will be finishing their Picasso-inspired World War 2 paintings.
