Over the past 2 weeks in Year 1, we have been immersed in planning our very own party inspired by the book ‘Grace and Family’. To kick things off, we used our persuasive writing skills to create captivating party invitations. Additionally, we flexed our culinary muscles by drafting a delicious recipe for our party food. The classroom buzzed with creativity as we crafted vibrant decorations and party hats. Our culinary adventures continued as we followed our recipes to create mouth-watering pizzas. Finally, the big day arrived, complete with homemade party hats and a medley of exciting games and music. The celebrations were a hit, and we are now excitedly documenting our party experiences through writing. A wonderful time was had by all!
