Over this week Year 2 have been busy with their learning. In English, children created persuasive posters to encourage, the Lonely Beast from our storybook, to stay in the city. In Mathematics, children have been continuing their learning all about fractions. This week the children learnt to find a quarter, understand thirds and calculate the whole amount. As part of our History learning, children had an opportunity to design a castle with strong defences, following their study of different types of castles. A particular highlight of this week has been Computing, where children have been excited about exploring using Beebots and have been developing their confidence in navigating Beebots. Finally, Year 2 ended the week with our Religious Education day learning all about what fasting is and why people do it.
