What a treat it was to have our wonderful parents join us in the classroom for the parent workshop. To prepare for our Ancient Egyptian museum, parents helped put together our burial masks. Proudly, children shared their knowledge about Ancient Egypt and the purpose of the masks, which was part of the Ancient Egyptian burial ritual.

The year five classrooms were buzzing with creative energy as parents and children worked together to complete their masks. As a result of their joint efforts, the masks look spectacular, dazzling with sequins and bursting with vibrant colours.

Thank you to all parents who joined us in the workshop. The bright smiles on the children’s faces are testament to the joy it brought them.
