This week Year 3 took a short trip around our school to look at how the land around us is used to help benefit us and let us live here.

We were focusing on key aspects linked with land use; residential (housing), parks, shops, transport, schools and places of worship. We found a wide variety of things everywhere on our walk around Dagenham. We found; main roads (A13), a variety of shops, ambulance cars, churches, electrical pylons, and wind turbines. We knew that these gave us electricity and services to help us live here.

Here are some pictures of our walk and the spots where we found these important local land uses.
