For Literacy this week we have been reading the story ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?’. Children have enjoyed joining in a range of activities, such as, role playing how the animals move and the sounds they make, sequencing the animals in order of how they appear in the story and matching the animals to the picture cards. We repeated the story everyday and children have been developing their vocabulary as they have been repeating refrains from the story.
