Mr Campbell gave year 5 a task; we had too many boxes of cereals and he wanted us to find a charity where we can donate them. Immediately on the case, year 5 researched local charities and rang a few. By 1:00pm that very day, the charity DABD – a local charity that supports people in financial difficulties or who are disabled – were in receipt of 103 boxes of Weetabix, Rice Krispies and Shredded Wheat! We were really pleased with ourselves, firstly for thinking of those less fortunate than ourselves, secondly at the speed in which we got the boxes donated. Well done year 5!

DADB were extremely pleased and wrote a personal letter to thank us for our contributions.
