This week we have been exploring colours. We used the primary colour paint blocks and experimented with mixing them together. We were all very excited to see the new colours we created. The children discovered that if you mix red and blue together you get purple and when you mix blue and yellow together you make green and also when you mix red and yellow together you make orange. The children especially enjoyed mixing all the 3 colours together and were delighted to find out that you can create a ‘brown’ colour. Using these new colours the children spent time painting a variety of colourful pictures.
