This week The Duchess of Cambridge launched Children’s Mental Health Week with a plea for children to be given opportunities to be able to express themselves however they feel best.

Year 6 learnt that mental health is about how we look after our emotions.  They also discovered that mental health is not just when we are sad, anxious or angry.  We can talk about having good mental health.  We learnt that is ok to have different emotions, but it is how we handle them that matters.

Throughout the week, we run a competition asking the Year 6 children to express themselves in which ever way they wanted.  Here are the entries from 6W.

Well done to our winners- Edith (6D), Rory (6E), Lucas C (6K) and Aires (6W).
