What an amazing day our trip to Celtic Harmony was!  The children had a fantastic time learning about Stone Age tools, food and homes.  Each class was given a tribe name and then went off into the woods to do a range of activities.  They had the opportunity to hunt wild boar and woolly mammoth with ‘spears’.  After foraging for ‘berries, seeds and nuts’, they ground up the the ingredients to make a soup.  Everyone enjoyed making a shelter from tree branches, sticks, twigs and leaves – it was great to see the teamwork within the different groups as they worked together to build the den.

It was the most amazing but exhausting day!

Thank you to everyone for their help and support in making this trip happen.
