This week in Science, we have been learning all about plants. One of the topics was about water transportation (the way water moves through a plant). We then conducted a celery experiment to find out whether different temperatures affect how fast the stem sucks up water. Food colouring was also added to the water. We concluded that stems suck up water the fastest in hot temperatures, and this is because plants mainly need water and sunlight to grow. Take a look at some of the pictures to see how we conducted our celery experiment!
