In Year 5, we have begun working on our own compositions. We are basing our pieces on the solfege (notes) and rhythm in the famous ‘Twinkle Twinkle’. Several famous composers have used ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ for inspiration in their music, including Mozart. We are also considering musicality in our compositions including: playing together, tempo (speed) and volume (dynamics).
