Year five have been working hard exploring place value. In Ms. Feeney’s class, the children were working with five-digit numbers, and figuring out the value of each digit in a number. We celebrated our achievements with a place value game on Friday. Working in pairs, children used their number knowledge to give hints to a five digit number on their whiteboard. Congratulations to Tolu who won the Mathematician of the week for his determination mastering place value.
