Year 5 had a fantastic morning learning how to drum using the drum kit, including the snare drum, high hat and bass drum. For most of us it was our first time drumming! We used 4 beat bar to keep a steady pulse on the high hat. It took a lot of coordination to play the snare drum on the 2 and 4 – and the bass drum on the 1 and 3. Look out for more drumming fun over the next few weeks!
