Several of our amazing year 5 and 6 students have volunteered to take on play leader roles to support the children in the ARP during their lunch times. After filling in an application form and being interviewed by ARP teacher Mrs Shaughnessy, suitable candidates were selected. These year 5 and 6 students have shown outstanding kindness, patience and maturity by giving up their own lunch times to take part. They are fantastic role models, who model how to play and build relationships. It is truly wonderful to witness these partnerships and connections develop as all the children learn from each other. I think you will agree that these acts of kindness particularly reflect the school values of trust and respect.
