This week Year 4 visited the British Museum in Central London to support and enhance our context learning on Romans. We went there to look at Roman artefacts ranging from clay pottery and Roman mosaics, to tombstones and Roman buildings.

Whilst at the museum, we carried out a number of activities which included working out the materials used in Roman buildings, sketching clay pottery and recognising symbols used on tombstones. After lunch we explored more of the museum and even viewed the museum from high up.
