Last week, we began a new book ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’ which is an adventure novel by the celebrated Michael Morpurgu. To connect with the story plot, and the characters, we created a freeze frame from the opening chapter of the book. We decided to create a freeze frame of the family the morning they were about to embark on a 6-month sailing trip around the world. While we were in our freeze frames, we thought tracked each of the character’s thoughts and feelings. We had lots of fun, especially playing Stella – the one-ear up, one-ear down dog. Here are some pictures from the lesson.
