This week was a very special week! Nursery have had an amazing week focusing on our favourite story books and  dressing up as characters from our favourite stories!

We were also very lucky to have had an amazing author, Rosie Hudson visit and take part in an interactive storytelling session. The author was amazing and used movement, Makaton signs, repetition and rhymes to tell a ‘Wild’ story called ‘Pandemonium’ which involved many wild animal characters.

This sessions enabled children to recognise and respond to body language and expressions to explore how feelings affect our behaviour. The session was fantastic! The children participated incredibly well, and it was lovely to see the children engaged and focused.

On Friday we dressed up as our favourite book characters, designed our own marks and read lot’s of lovely stories.
