Welcome back everyone! We hope you had a wonderful Christmas break and a great start to the new year. And that you were all excited to return to school.

This week, the children and the staff have been settling back in to school life and structures. We have been doing some simple English and Maths activities with the children to build the routine back in, as well as our afternoon activities. We will be sharing some of these with you next week as we have just started to read the book, ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. We are looking forward to reading this book as it is so engaging and exciting with all the different typed of food the caterpillar gets to eat.

From the pictures below, you can see the children settling in by taking part in sensory room lessons, such as music, as well as sand play and making faces. The faces activity was lovely to do with the children as they made a face that looked like themselves. They really enjoyed building the faces using the different types of eyes, ears, noses and mouths.

Take a look below, everyone is eager to play and participate in the activities, and we hope this continues for the rest of this term.
