Nursery have started full time this week and it has been a pleasure to see how they have coped with coming in for a full session. Due to the children settling well we have already been able to start our topic work! We have spoken about ourselves, our families, what we like to play with and what we like/dislike to eat. We have painted pictures of ourselves and our families. We have displayed our work which has given the children a sense of belonging and comfort in their new environment. Children have enjoyed listening to stories about starting school and about their families! We have also taken our learning outdoors and made our faces using natural resources, focusing on our facial features and what they are used for.
