In our English lessons we have been reading the book Krindlekrax. The main character – Ruskin – has a teacher called Mr. Lace. Mr Lace stands out for his peculiar ways and his fondness for Shakespeare. The children were tasked with researching Shakespeare to find out why Mr Lace was so moved when anyone mentioned his name. Then, with the knowledge they had collected, they wrote a non-chronological report. Some of the children were celebrated in assembly on Monday by reading out snippets of their reports.
