Story Mapping

Our Power of Reading text this half term has been The Princess and The White Bear King.’ This week we have been looking at recounting the story in the ‘Story Mapping’ style. We allowed the children flexibility in deciding upon their own story mapping style.

We have all been mightily impressed with the children’s ability to recall the key parts of the story, and with the creativity (one of our schools promoted character virtues) they displayed in setting their work out!

If you get the chance, ask your child to recap the story of The Princess and the White Bear King to you.
