This week, Year 3 have been thinking about the chronology of events during the Stone Age. They began by learning that chronology means the arrangement of events or dates in the order of their occurrence. They then had a go at ordering events that have happened in more recent history.

After that, they learnt about the system we use to split history into chunks and how the system we use has no zero, but works forwards from 1AD (AD) and backwards from 1BC (BC).

Finally, they worked in pairs to order events from the last million years into chronological order! You can look at the photos to see how they got on!
