Children this week in Spanish Club have been learning the words for colours. We started building on their knowledge from last week and practised ‘greetings’ and learned some new vocabulary. The children did really well in learning all of these new words and found it easy to pronounce even the hardest ones. We played a game at the end of our session where I would say one of the colours using the Spanish word and children need to walk around the classroom and touch an object of that colour. They really enjoyed this and it was a great way for them to consolidate the new knowledge.
