This week, Year 5 students continued their journey to become transportation scientists. The children studied the effects of air resistance and how they can be both positive and negative. Using fair testing, they designed a system that would overcome the effects of air resistance. Making and testing miniature parachutes, they could gain more accurate results. Seeing air resistance in action and considering design details to generate maximum resistance was really fascinating.
